**About us**

J.D.B Futures is a LME Base Metals focused Commodity Brokerage, specialising in the execution of futures, forwards and option derivatives on the London Metal Exchange for large Investment Banks, Commodity Houses and Hedge Funds.

This role is a 6 month internship as a Broker Assistant, supporting the CEO of the company in trade support, trade confirmations, administration, market analysis and process improvement.

Duties

Trade Confirmations

Liaising with Colleagues on trades and trade information

Checking Trade Confirmation Status

Completing Valuation spreadsheets

Completing Trade Blotter spreadsheet

Monitoring FX Positioning

Reading Market Reports

Collating market data to input into spreadsheets.

Processing invoices, expense claims, and other financial transactions

Assisting with financial analysis and forecasting

Potential to learn and grow into a Junior Broker role with more Opportunities / Earnings

**Skills**:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data entry and analysis
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Interest in Financial Markets and a desire to learn and Develop
