", "Responsibilities": "As a Commodities Trading and Risk Management Intern, you will be responsible for:
- Analysing markets to identify trading opportunities and understanding risks
- Designing and developing models to analyse economic data, market fundamentals, and forecast prices
- Performing research and statistical studies of identified risk factors
- Identifying market pricing trends and discontinuity
- Designing and formulating trade ideas and executing with rigorous risk management control
- Reviewing research reports and articles that examine recent developments in the energy markets
- Building close connections with external consultancies and internal research teams
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Finance, Statistics, Business, Economics, Energy, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field of study
- Expected graduation date in 2026
- Prior internship or exposure to the commodities markets, or experience with other financial institutions and consulting is preferred
- Excellent analytical and technical skills in one or more of the following: R, Python, Matlab, C++, VBA, Excel, as well as SQL or other database exposure
- Superior communication skills both verbal and written
- Ability to work as an effective team player and add value to the team
