This is a new, exciting opportunity to join the Colorectal Cancer administrative and clerical team to support the provision of care to newly diagnosed Colorectal and Gynaecological Cancer patients from Nottinghamshire who are at risk of also having a diagnosis of Lynch Syndrome, as well as support the Colorectal MDTs as required.

This role requires the individual to build strong working relationships with clinical teams around the Trust as well as other administrative teams. There is lots of opportunity to network and bring innovation into the current working processes.

Main duties of the job

In addition to the below summary you need to familiarise yourself with full Job Description and Person Specification documents attached to this advert.

To attend the two main Colorectal and Gynaecology MDT meetings to identify the patients that may be at risk of Lynch Syndrome.

To provide administrative facilitation of MDT meetings including preparing, organising and circulating agendas, and recording the outcome.

To assist and supervise the collation of all relevant documentation for team meetings.

To identify and be involved with co-ordinating appropriate patient referrals for discussion at the MDT team meetings.

To confirm MDT decisions to referring clinicians and primary care.

To maintain an attendance record.

To co-ordinate with colleagues regarding MDT actions.

Create correspondence as appropriate.

To organise Lynch diagnosis outpatient appointments and to liaise with the clinical team and patients regards this.

To track the results of all genetic testing and to ensure these results are circulated and discussed as appropriate.

To provide cover for other MDTs when required.

**Qualifications**:
Essential criteria
- Educated to A-level or equivalent standard A-C GCSE passes in Maths and English

Experience

Essential criteria
- Previous experience using all functions of Microsoft Excel
- Efficient organisation of meetings and other appointments within a very broad and dynamic agenda
- Experience in similar role

Communication

Essential criteria
- Ability to Prioritise / Work to tight deadlines

Planning & Organisational

Essential criteria
- Good time management & works with initiative
- Demonstrates an ability to organise own work schedule

**Salary**: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
