**Reporting to** - Housing Services Manager

**Overall role objective**:
Provide full housing management service to all residents of Solo Housing and agreed partner agencies, including:

- Accommodation standards and safety checks
- Tenancy sustainment including but not limited to rent account management and Anti-social behaviour
- Performance reporting on voids and rent collection
- Administration of the Property Management and Case Management systems
- Identifying property compliance audit risks and reporting to line manager
- Completing property safety checks & any identified remedial actions

**Main duties and responsibilities**:

- Lead on carrying out a full housing management service to all Solo Housing residents across the Housing Related Supported accommodation services, Shared Housing services, Social Housing and Private Sector housing, along with housing management services within our partner organisations
- Lead on property inspections to reinforce lettable standards
- Provide an efficient and effective service to maximise the rental income and increase tenancy sustainment.
- Work collaboratively with the Support Teams and the Property Services Manager to provide an efficient and effective lettings service.
- Work collaboratively with the Support Teams and the Finance Team to support tenancy sustainment.
- Work collaboratively with our partner agencies to fulfil our duties as a landlord
- Contribute to any management system to enable the monitoring of available lets, rent collection, tenancy sustainment, stock condition, access/key management, providing regular and meaningful updates to the Housing Services Manager.
- Ensuring any enforcement action follows relevant legal process, including representing Solo Housing in court.
- Providing timely and accurate data on housing management status and actions required.
- Contribute to the development or review of policies and written procedures in connection with housing management.
- Meet all relevant prescribed targets and provide performance management information efficiently and effectively.
- Promote and contribute to the involvement of residents across Solo Housing to ensure their voice is heard.
- Follow the Solo Housing Complaints Policy and Procedure.
- Take part in an out of office hours on-call rota.
- Commitment to learning and development.
- Commitment to Solo Housing organisational values.

**Relevant experience in relation to the main duties of the role**:

- Delivering housing management service for a regulated housing provider, including allocations, lets and rents
- Experience of working with private sector rental market
- Experience of representing the organisation at court
- Knowledge of the Housing Benefit system
- Proven office administrative & coordination experience
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Proficient in MS Office packages, computer skills and knowledge of office software packages
- Proficient in use of accounting systems such as Xero and other management systems.
- Experience of Lone Working

**Work Experience/Background**:

- Working in a housing management environment
- Experience in a similar role
- Experience of using management systems/databases
- Experience in teamwork and partnership work
- Experience of resident involvement and customer service
- Experience with external contractors
- Experience in working to agreed targets.

**Terms and conditions**:

- Working week 37.5 hours Monday to Friday
- Flexible working policy
- Salary range - £25,110 (annual incremental appraisal system is in place)
- Employer pension contribution 8%
- Annual leave starting at 28 days per annum plus bank holidays, increasing to 30 days after 2 full years in employment
