We are pleased to share an opportunity to join Flagship Group’s Affordable for All Team, as an Affordability Support Advisor. The role is a Fixed Term Contract until 31.03.2024, working 37 hours per week; working Monday to Friday.
This role is working from our Coppice House Office, in Bury St. Edmunds. The role comes with Agile Working and Flexible Working will be considered.
The Affordability Support Advisor will be working within our local housing team, you’ll provide support options for tenants experiencing affordability issues. You’ll have a passion for providing excellent customer service, and be self-motivated and eager to learn. You need to be a great communicator (particularly over the telephone) who can listen to and understand our tenants to provide a person-centred service that fits with our Housing is Human ethos.
In this Affordability Support Advisor role you will provide advice on in-house support options, signposting colleagues and sensitively manage a caseload of tenants. You’ll track demand and outcomes, collating measures on impact and identifying gaps in our offering to support our aim of continuous improvement. You’ll ensure that you provide timely and accurate advice by yourself and colleagues, proactively familiarising yourself with policies and procedures related to in-house options and offerings provided by statutory and voluntary sector organisations.
Although the role is office-based in our local Housing offices, a driving license and access to a vehicle are essential to travel between offices; meet with different teams and tenants on occasion.
