The Role reports directly to GMP’s Director of IT and Digital and will assist the Director of IT and Digital in the delivery of IT Operations and the design and transition of new services into IT Operations. You will be responsible for the Management of the Operations and Service Design and Transition functions.

Aims:
To assist the Director of IT and Digital in the delivery of IT Operations and the design and transition of new services into IT Operations.
Responsible for the delivery of all operational IT services to the agreed service level.
Optimises the delivery of services to improve quality and value for money.
Provides visible and active leadership in the management of change within the IT Branch.
Promotes IT policies, practices and decisions which recognise the current and evolving needs of all the stakeholders.
Proactive decision making to create value and operational effectiveness on behalf of IT Branch.
