**Salary**:£23,735 - £26,100 per annum (dependent upon experience)

Here at YUSU (York University Students Union), we have an exciting job opportunity for someone to join our Activities team as the Sports Coordinator.

**About the Role**:
YUSU is looking to recruit an enthusiastic individual to lead on the coordination and development support of our university sport clubs. This is a fast-paced role working with over 60 different student-led sport clubs, planning events such as varsity or awards ceremonies and working with the wider Activities team on projects.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

- Coordinating sport club activity and assisting student committees with developing their clubs.
- Leading on BUCS administration, organising weekly BUCS fixtures and coordinating event entries.
- Supporting the York Sport Union President in delivering development initiatives to all clubs and with their manifesto.
- Building relationships with relevant university staff, clubs and external stakeholders to facilitate connections across these areas.
- Working with the Activities team on planning events such as Roses, awards season and welcome activities.
