Within the fully integrated NHS Grampian Finance function, the Financial Accounting team is a multi-skilled team responsible for a variety of tasks including maintaining accurate financial records for NHS Grampian, monitoring audit and corporate governance compliance, treasury management, managing Endowments and providing systems support. The team deals with annual payments and receipts, both in excess of £670m and the processing of 170,000 purchase and sales invoices with a value in excess of £150m. Team members must provide an efficient and effective service to NHS Grampian to enable the organisation to report its monthly and annual financial position in a timely and accurate manner.

The Ledgers team is looking for a self-driven, enthusiastic and customer-centric individual to join our dynamic and supportive team.
The post holder will support the team leader in guiding the ledgers team, who are responsible for processing approximately 5,000 sales invoices per annum with an estimated value of £41 million. To ensure that work is completed in line with required timescales and provide advice, training support and assistance to Ledger Assistants as required. You will be required to ensure financial information is processed in accordance with procedures. Investigate complex customer and credit control enquiries providing assistance and advice as required.
