**What’s on offer?**

The firm will provide sponsorship to study towards a professional qualification in tax: the ATT CTA tax pathway.

You’ll get paid study leave and we’ll even cover the cost of your exams. You’ll get regular check-ins and guidance to ensure you’re continuing to grow - with the aim for you to join us permanently upon completion.

**Your role**

In this position, you’ll be responsible for:

- Contributing to the delivery of good quality VAT advice to our clients
- Completing VAT documentation and other written work as required
- Staying up to date with national and international VAT legislation developments
- Conducting research to stay up to date on current commercial and economic developments related to your clients’ interests
- Developing an understanding of a wide range of sectors, and any related technical issues or VAT risks
- Building and maintaining strong relationships internally with colleagues and supporting them on client projects as needed - working closely with VAT Partner and wider team as required
- Correspond with HM Revenue & Customs on relevant matters such as enquiries into a client’s VAT affairs, and work closely with clients to keep them updated

- Strong communication skills; both verbal and written
- A natural curiosity coupled with strong research skills to support your understanding of the issues impacting your clients
- Strong attention to detail, prioritisation and organisational skills
- A collaborative, proactive and can do attitude
