**About the role**

As Head of Commercial you will have overall responsibility for the Commercial department in the business. You will be responsible for leading the commercial team supporting the Ops Director. You will be tasked with achieving targets by managing budgets & ensuring any cost overruns stay within the tolerance levels authorised. You will be responsible for leading, the development & coaching of your commercial team (made up of a mix of surveyors, buyers and administrators). You will have the strongest of working relations with key sub-contractors & suppliers

**What you will have**
- Ideally be working for a residential house builder
- To have achieved a degree in Quantity Surveying, who is RICS qualified, or has relevant experience
- A strong knowledge of commercial contracts and arrangements
- Comfortable in managing people and teams to achieve high performance
- Demonstrable success in a similar or other senior commercial role
