Due to exciting developments within the community midwifery service we are seeking experienced, dynamic and motivated administrators to join our team.

The individual will provide administrative support to the community midwifery teams across both city and county areas. Some essential duties include; ordering and maintaining stock, establishing working relationships with the multi-disciplinary team, competently working on a variety of IT systems and programs and minute taking when required.

Working for our organisation

The community midwifery team is spread across the city and county areas, comprising of 17 individual teams based within local health centre's and children's centre's.

We have administrative posts available in a range of locations, all working alongside the midwives and maternity support workers.

You will be expected to work Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays.

You will be a car driver and owner with a clean driving license.

We are looking for someone who is able to demonstrate;
- An ability to work under own initiative
- That they enjoy problem solving and working in a busy environment
- Can help with team organisation on daily basis
- Has the skills and ability to use a variety of IT programs - EXCEL, Word, Powerpoint etc
- Has knowledge of a electronic clinical data system
- Is able to work flexibly

Person specification

Training and Qualification

Essential criteria
- To be educated at 'O' level, GCSE or equivalent including English at Grade C or above
- Experience of Microsoft packages

Desirable criteria
- To possess 5 GCSE A-C passes including English and Maths equivalent
