FTE Salary £32,076 - Pro-rata equivalent is £13,870

Your job will be to liaise with and help improve communication channels between Town Council colleagues, local groups, support services, North Somerset Council, Integrated Care Partnership, North Somerset Together and other local wellbeing workers.

To work towards enabling the Nailsea community to help itself by making it easier for people to access local services that can support them to become healthier, more active and engaged.

Establish an understanding of Nailsea, by talking to residents, agencies and organisations working in the area.

Discover any issues within the community as well as the barriers that prevent residents from improving their health and wellbeing, and then work strategically to reduce these.

To build and sustain relationships and trust with community stakeholders and organisations.

You will lead a project to create a template to enable local grassroots wellbeing groups to launch and grow easily.

Create and lead projects that will directly support our local well-being groups and activities and help them to thrive. This will include seek funding support, promotion and training opportunities etc.

Actively promote diversity, inclusion, and equality of opportunity in all activities.

You will encourage a focus on ‘what is strong, rather than what is wrong’, in the community and support building on those strengths

This role is a fixed term part time - 16 month contract and will be for 16 hours per week.
