The ideal candidate will have Safeguarding Knowledge and experience having worked with young people and vulnerable adults previously. As part of the role you will be providing a day-to-day response to safeguarding and wellbeing concerns to ensure learners are safe and secure, proactively safeguarding learners on campus and providing resources and learning via workshops and online tools to keep them safe on and off campus. To include all strands of provision study programmes, apprenticeships, and HE. You will be raising awareness of current themes including Prevent, County lines, CSE and domestic violence.

Current Safeguarding & Prevent training.
Mental Health First Aid training.
Level 2 English and Maths (or equivalent) or commitment to gaining within 24 months of commencement of employment. 
Evidence of continued professional development. 
Understanding of current Safeguarding themes in a School KS3/4 or FE setting.
Use of electronic systems to report and track safeguarding concerns such as MyConcern or CPoms.
30 hours per week, term time only
