Happy Mojos is revolutionising children’s wellbeing provision. We truly believe that every child should have access to enabling environments where they can evolve and be who they choose to be, feel valued and invested in. We are all unique and we should be able to let our lights shine regardless of barriers.
We create individualised, targeted programmes to support specific SEMH needs and wellbeing for sustainable impact; building resilient, confident and healthy learners. Our services are fun and engaging whilst teaching children the skills needed to cope with life’s ups and downs.
We are looking for wellbeing coaches to deliver term time group and one to one SEMH & wellbeing sessions. These are based in schools in Somerset and Bristol. Our sessions are inclusive, nurturing and fun. Your role is to see the world through the children’s eyes and support them to develop their own uniqueness using evidenced-based approaches and teaching strategies to support their SEMH needs, developing self-confidence, resilience & emotional wellbeing. Embodying the “Happy Mojos approach” and upholding our beyond world-class brand values.
For our **wellbeing coaches** we are looking for someone who:
Has had a range of experience working with SEMH needs
Level 3+ in childcare/ education or equivalent
At least 2 year experience working with children
Experience working with children with SEMH pupils
To be passionate about mental health & wellbeing
To maintain outstanding relationships with colleagues and schools
A willingness to develop management skills in line with the ethos of Happy Mojos
Provide an inclusive and nurturing environment throughout all sessions
Knowledge around child protection and safeguarding
To hold a driving licence

To work to exceptional standards and relate well with children
To work well as part of a team and network of teams
To work professionally with schools, education settings and local communities developing our programmes and activities across all age phases
To manage admin tasks including meetings, planning, resourcing and recording of sessions
To be reliable & flexible

Creative, fun and have a sense of humour

**Desirable**
Paediatric first aid trained
To have experience of mindfulness based practices: yoga, breath work
Enhanced DBS update service
This is a casual contract with an opportunity to develop into a permanent contract.
