**Job Purpose**:
To ensure the success of the project, which aims to bring together the Foundation, Club and Supporters Groups, with a focus on increasing the diversity of the fan base.

**Responsibilities**:
1. Establish project steering group with representation from DSA, Supporters Trust, Swansea City Fan Engagement Lead, Ethnic Minority groups and women’s groups.

2. Organise, attend, and report to quarterly steering committee.

3. Attend regular fortnightly 1 to 1 meetings with Swansea City Fan Engagement Lead.

4. Engagement of ethnic minority groups and individuals within their own communities, including visits to community buildings and faith groups.

5. Proactive contact with existing fans who have indicated a desire to be included in the project.

6. Work with HR and Safeguarding Manager to ensure best practice in this engagement e.g. pre-volunteering checks (including DBS checks), appropriate support and training for volunteers.

8. work with the DSA and women’s groups to consult about the barriers to engagement with the Club and Foundation that are still faced by those with disabilities and by women.

9. Conduct consultation with Ethnic minority individuals and groups about barriers to inclusion within the Club and Foundation.

10. Address the barriers through coproduced solutions with fans and prospective new fans.

11. Organise profile-raising events to attract new groups and participants. These should include:

- Stadium tours and Celebration events.
- Community cohesion workshops: designed to improve new fans’ sense of belonging within their club and community. The aim will be that fans demonstrate more positive behaviours and attitudes which will contribute to a more inclusive environment.
- Culturally appropriate events, such as ‘Iftar at the Stadium’ to help people feel that the Stadium is a welcoming community building.
- Events such as 5 a side / walking football sessions for existing fans and prospective fans using interest in football as a unifying force.

12. Work with H&S officer to conduct thorough risk assessments of all activities and events, and ensure volunteers are supported to understand the importance of H&S.

13. Work with existing Fans Groups to integrate the new supporters.

14. When sufficient numbers have been achieved, help with the establishment of new supporters’ groups to meet the needs of new and future fan

15. Arrange a minimum of 5 player appearances across the project, utilizing the Men’s team, Women’s team, Academy players and former players.

16. Work with Media and Marketing Officer to promote project internally and externally through publicity campaigns.

17. Work closely with M&E officer to ensure the collection of data e.g. registration forms, attendance logs, consultation results, and any other data required for monitoring. Gather participant information such as age, gender, ethnicity and disability.

18. Design surveys to be conducted at a number of points throughout the project using Jot Forms. (Ensure paper forms for those unable to use IT).

19. write reports for funders (and trustees when required)

20. manage budgets and resources, including the reimbursement of volunteer expenses

21. keep up to date with legislation and policy related to ED&I

22. undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.

- an understanding of the football for development sector
