Description
We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join our SLM Toyota Uckfield team as a Sales Controller. The role involves leading the team of Sales Executives in a fast-paced environment, working towards hitting your own targets and monitoring your team’s targets.

The working hours for this role are 8am to 6pm Monday to Friday and Saturday 8:30am to 5pm with a day off in the week, and Sunday off (5 days a week).

**Requirements**:
**Key Job Areas of the Sales Controller role**:

- Lead the sales team and ensure sales processes are followed.
- Achieve individual unit and profit targets.
- Enquiry management to build and allocate prospecting data to the team.
- Build rapport and create a bespoke customer experience.
- Maintain high customer focus levels.
- Maintain up-to-date brand and company knowledge on products and ensure the team keep informed.
- Oversee Sales Administration to ensure key processes and documentation are delivered.
- Provide advice and sign-off on key issues (i.e., accessory displays, part exchanges, used car stock value and mix).
- Monitor individual and team performance against targets and support training where required.
- Work as a full member of the dealership team supporting both Sales and Aftersales activities.

**What we’re looking for in a Sales Controller**:

- Previous experience in motor trade sales.
- Previous experience of working to, and successfully achieving targets.
- Ability to work as part of, and lead a team.
- Excellent communication, administrative and organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service/people skills delivering services to high standards.
- Must have flexible, hands on ‘can do’ approach.
- Knowledge of sales principles and methods.
- Open minded and inquisitive to future growth and development opportunities.
