Purchase Ledger Clerk

Our client in Newcastle Under Lyme is looking for a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their expanding team. You will be repsonsible for all purchase ledger and payment administration tasks. This is a permanent role.
**The Role**:
- Validating purchase invoices for payment against goods received and payment terms
- Verifying bank details
- Posting invoices and credit notes (all currencies)
- Posting and allocating payments
- Preparing cashflow and other reports across the month as required
- Keeping SAGE updated
- Filing invoices and statements
**About You**:
- Reliable, organised and disciplined to work confidently under pressure and manage own deadlines
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to work as part of a small team to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Strong IT skills
- Minimum 2 years Purchase Ledger experience and SAGE Accounting
- Experience working with multiple currencies is preferred but not essential
**What We Offer**:
- Salary £23,000 to £25,000 dependent on experience
- £500 pa Company Bonus
Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm
