Our Sales people play a pivotal role, and we are looking for a highly motivated individual who puts the client at the heart of everything they do. As a Sales person you will play a key role in selling our diverse range of furniture and providing exceptional customer service. Working together in a close-knit team, you will be the face of the showroom and will become an expert on all things ‘Steven Burgess’, knowing everything about our products and using your expertise to provide an exceptional, personalised shopping experience to every client.

You will use your passion, knowledge and enthusiasm to support our clients throughout their journey. You will connect with them to understand their requirements and individual style to help them make the right decision, and make sure they enjoy the process.

**Responsibilities**
- Welcome clients to the showroom and engage with them in a friendly and professional manner.
- Engage with clients to understand their needs and recommend appropriate products, ensuring they leave having been given the best possible help and advice whilst experiencing an excellent customer journey.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.Making sure that the showroom is presentable at all times.
- Keeping up to date and maintaining a deep knowledge of all of our products.
- Processing client orders accurately to ensure that the furniture is crafted to their specification and arrives exactly as they imagined
- Conduct sales transactions accurately and efficiently.

**Requirements**:

- Sales experience that has required a high level of technical expertise and knowledge on the product being sold, preferably in the furniture industry.
- Have the confidence to proactively approach clients and discuss their needs.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Phone etiquette for handling enquiries over the phone.
- Organizational skills to keep track of client interactions and sales records.
- Exceptional attention to detail - you’ll be ordering furniture that is handmade to your client’s specifications.
- Ability to understand and interpret client needs.
- A positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- Technical appreciation and interest, with the ability to problem solve.
- A willingness to learn and a positive and friendly attitude.
- Knowledge of Xero would be advantageous.

**Hours**:

- 26-32 hours a week (Saturday working is compulsory)
- ** there is potential for flexibility to lead to full-time employment**
