**Job description**

***Carlton le Willows are looking to appoint an Attendance Co-ordinator to join our academy as soon as possible on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**
- As an Attendance Co-ordinator, you will secure the beneficial and regular attendance of all students of the Academy by supporting students and families, liaising and working closely with other agencies. Where necessary carrying out the statutory duty of legal action, when parents do not deliver their commitments under the academy home school agreement and when all efforts to help improve school attendance have failed to secure the child’s regular attendance.
-You will provide guidance and support for students at risk of exclusion and monitor progress against targets agreed with the DCSF and Local Authority.

With a consistent record of high academic attainment, Carlton le Willows remains one of the top performing schools in the area. In summer 2023 78% of pupils secured a Grade 4+ in English and Maths and 55% achieved this at grade 5+. Across the board 76% of pupils achieved grade 4+ in five or more GCSEs and our progress score was +0.2 placing us above similar schools nationally.
-A level students in our high performing sixth form achieved a 100% pass rate in 2023, with the average A level grade a B-, retaining our reputation for academic excellence post 16.
