Do you have experience of working with Children and Young People presenting with emotional wellbeing and mental health difficulties?

We are looking to recruit experienced, passionate and creative individuals to our team in this newly formed role. We would be interested in hearing from Qualified Children’s Wellbeing Practitioners, Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners, Educational Mental Health Practitioners, as well as from newly qualified clinicians for example in nursing, occupational therapy and social work, and non-clinical qualified professionals such as teaching and youth work.

The CAMHS Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health Practitioner will play a key role in the initial triage and assessment of children and young people’s needs and ensuring they receive timely access to the most appropriate services.

The post holder will be a key part of CAMHS delivering care to children, young people and families. The post holder is the first point of clinical contact for most children, young people, families and referrers to the service; and offer consultation and advice, triage and initial assessment of children's presenting needs.
