Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious individual to join our team as an Administrator / Project Coordinator. In this role, you will work closely with our experienced project managers and electricians to assist in the planning, execution, and completion of electrical projects. The majority of the role, will include communicating with customers, arranging work schedules for operatives, supervisors and managers. There will be general admin duties and working closely with the Project Co Ordinator.
The role will provide you with hands-on training and mentorship, allowing you to develop the necessary skills to become a successful project coordinator in any industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Collaborate with the project management team to assist in planning and organizing electrical projects, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
- Support project managers in creating project schedules, monitoring progress, and tracking key milestones.
- Assist in coordinating resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain project documentation, such as project plans, permits, invoices, and change orders.
- Communicate and coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate project delivery.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project status and address any issues or concerns.
- Assist in preparing project estimates, proposals, and bids.
- Learn and adhere to electrical codes, regulations, and safety practices.
**Requirements**:
- Strong interest in the electrical industry and a desire to pursue a career in project coordination.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow safety protocols and regulations.
- A valid driver's license is preferred.

**Salary**: £11.00-£12.50 per hour
