Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated community care worker to join our team. As a Home Assistant, you will provide essential care and support to individuals in their homes. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist clients with daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Travel from client to client to provide support as per their care plan
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Help clients with light housekeeping tasks, such as laundry and tidying up
- Accompany clients to appointments or social outings
- Assist with mobility and transfers, as needed
- Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate any changes or concerns to the appropriate individuals
- Follow care plans and ensure that all client needs are met

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in home care or a related field is preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide compassionate and patient-centered care
- Basic IT skills for documentation purposes
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written

Pay: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 - 48 per week

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Harlow: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
