We are now recruiting for an Operations Administrator based at our Spalding depot for a Pilgrams department on a full time permanent basis.

Shift: Monday to Friday

**Salary**: Up to £27,814 per annum, depending on experience

**Job Description**:
The purpose of an Operations Administrator is to work within a small team on a dedicated customer account providing first in class service, incorporating our core beliefs of Listening, Responding and Delivering to our customers.

Supporting all account management and Operational functions, liaising with internal and external customers to resolve day to day operational queries, provide service level reports, equipment planning and claims response.

Key Duties of an Operations Administrator:

- Providing and collate all information surrounding DOT, KPI’s, incidents and claims.
- Dealing with and resolving customer queries involving delivery times, incidents and claims escalating as appropriate.
- Handling return requests from suppliers, live planning of returns, and ensuring documentation and product is returned correctly.
- Complete driver debrief & positive confirmation in line with process and customer expectations.
- Follow daily booking procedure including the use of retailer own online booking systems/ portals.
- Tracking of all loads, both live and retrospectively, to ensure all relevant information is in the TMS.
- Liaise with central admin with regards to POD retrieval and exceptions.
- Supplying requested reports for the customer and operational management team when required.
- Organising the filing of paperwork in an orderly fashion, and arranging for archiving when applicable.
- Ensure on time reporting of Motor collisions, GIT and defects.
- Update relevant personnel and customers of late running / non deliveries.
- Plan and monitor the movements of 3rd party owned customer Dolavs ensuring customer production site requirements are fulfilled.
- Support and provide cover for the weekly payroll administration function.
- Support when required the input of orders and load building into the TMS systems
- Assist & provide cover for other administrational duties where required**_._**

**Qualifications**:

- GCSEs or equivalent
- Full driving licence
- Experience within the FMCG and or wider transport/logistics industry is desirable
- Experience of working within customer service
- Strong Knowledge of MS Office including Excel and Word (training will be provided for in house software)
- Experience in effectively communicating with other departments internally
- Previous experience of busy office environment
- Experience of some direct customer contact
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Flexibility in thinking and approach
- Able to work to challenging deadlines
- Thoroughness/Attention to detail
