We are an independent insurance broker that prides itself in professionalism, expertise, and customer service.

Based at the offices near Horsham, you will be required to work within the Commercial Team, assisting the Account Executives in their daily duties, including preparing reports and renewal presentations, chasing up quotes, claims and processing mid-term adjustments.

The role has responsibility for generating revenue and developing the profitability of the business whilst ensuring full FCA compliance in all aspects of insurance.

It is an Administrator role with full training provided with the aim to progress into a career in insurance.

**Insurance Agent Responsibilities**:
General insurance administration

Data input/lead generation

Chasing insurers for quotes/renewal terms

Assisting in claims management

Renewal presentations/reporting

Processing mid-term adjustments

Ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer and conducting related administration

Ensure all business policies and procedures are followed e.g. Health and Safety & regulatory requirements

Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the management team

**Essential Requirements**:
Proficient I.T. skills. Including Word/Excel

Ability to follow processes and procedures and to work within timeframes

Good communication skills with a variety of people including clients and colleagues with the ability to build strong, professional relationships

Confident and studious character

Good attention to detail and organised in approach

Open to training & study within insurance with a view to taking to Chartered Institute exams

A good range of strong GSCE's passes, with a minimum requirement in Maths & English

Satisfy all pre-employment checks required for the role including criminal records and credit check

**Desirable Requirements**:
Knowledge of insurance products and/or insurance claims

Experience of working in an insurance-based organisation/ brokers

Experience of working in line with FCA compliance

Use of an insurance IT system, specifically Open GI

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time, 9.00am - 5.00pm (Monday to Friday)

**Salary**: £19,000 - £29,000 (dependent on experience)
