Reed HR are currently recruiting for a **HR Manager EMEA.**
Reporting to the Global Head of HR, you will mainly be interfacing with the senior leadership team:
Managing Director and Leadership Team in the UK and Italy
Representatives of other local functions incl. Finance, IT
Global HR CoEs (incl. Total Reward, Talent Mgmt. & Acq.)
External service providers (e.g. Payroll providers)
**Your key responsibilities will be as follows**:
Proactively work with Senior leadership/site management teams to influence, develop and implement people strategies for UK and Italy
Providing advice, guidance and support to line management to deal effectively with all people-related issues, including the management of HR administration activities.
Be responsible for the coordination of vendor selections for HR Services and benefits, which includes identification of service provider, selection, negotiation, and contract management including onboarding and performance monitoring (e.g. Payroll, privatemedical insurance, EAP)
Coordinate all local talent acquisition activities (potentially in collaboration with 3rd party provider), ensure alignment of recruiting activities with business needs and lead talent and succession management activities.
Identify the need for learning and development initiatives for both managers and employees and manage external providers (e.g. training companies)
Manage pension and benefits administration in cooperation with external providers
Support the management of relations with relevant trade Unions and / or employee representatives, including negotiation of terms and conditions.
**Education, Experience & Skills Required for this role**:
Previous experience within a SME or start up organisaion
Educated to degree level and / or Post graduate diploma in HR management
Ideally you will will have a depth of experience in generalist HR and specialist experience of compensation topics.
**Preferably with experience of working with in unionized and manufacturing environments.**
A proactive and solution orientation mindset is essential for this role; equally important is critical thinking
Excellent communication skills including influencing and negotiating are required.
A high level of human relations skills are required as a large amount of the job holder’s activities will involve dealing with sensitive people related issues or having the ability to influence and facilitate change
The ability to work as part of a professional team and manage a demanding customer base and progressive workload is essential
