**Opportunity**

We are currently seeking an experienced software test engineer to join our innovative and growing team. The main purpose of the role is to ensure the software produced by the product development team is fully tested. You will be involved in all areas oftesting from planning, requirements and analysis to manual and automated test execution, defect management, reporting, and support of Management Company User Acceptance Testing to help them prepare, test and onboard new Digital products.

**This role will require some travel to one of our offices in Basildon, Southampton or London**

**You will be responsible for**:

- Planning and maintaining testing environments
- Test estimations for Sprints and Releases
- Estimation and planning of the test preparation and test support for all backlog items.
- Directing and supporting all aspects of preparing and executing functional test scripts during the sprint
- Analysis and setup of all supporting test data
- Accurate recording and reporting of test progress
- Accurate and comprehensive creation, escalation, and management of defects
- Creation and maintenance of regression test packs
- Active participation in the Scrum, Sprint Planning, Refinement, Sprints, Reviews and Retrospectives
- Active participation in client acceptance UAT and Model Office, planning, coordination, and delivery

Daily update and maintenance of test scripts and defects

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience in a software testing role.
- A motivated individual who is and interested in learning current & new testing methodologies, techniques, and approaches
- Experience in using Excel to manipulate data sets.

**Desirable to have**
- Experience using SQL to interrogate databases for test data preparation and checking test execution results
- Working knowledge of Trade Lifecycle, Financial Services business processes (Straight Through Processing, Back Office Processes, and order management systems)
- Experience in testing integrated systems comprised of Browser/Web Portal (HTML/XML/JavaScript), Cloud Services (Java, SQL), Third Party and Legacy systems
