Our client specialises in developing, designing and producing test rigs for combustion engines, transmissions and electrical drives, complex testing and assembly systems, as well as devices for leak testing for automotive manufacturers and their suppliers.

**Job purpose**:
We are looking for a Manufacturing Coordinator to support the manufacturing team according to project demand and quality standards. You will be the one to ensure our products are installed on time for in a profitable manner.
An excellent Manufacturing Coordinator is well-versed in manufacturing and installation procedures and ways to optimize them. They are organized and results-driven with great problem-solving skills. Advanced communication and computer skills are very usefulfor the role.
The goal is to ensure the smooth and cost-efficient coordination of our manufacturing and installation operations.
- Coordinate manufacturing workflow for one or multiple products.
- Coordinate care packages for installation activities including RAM’s.
- Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
- Determine manpower, equipment and raw materials needed to cover manufacturing demand.
- Assign workers and other staff to manufacturing operations.
- Schedule shift according to manufacturing needs.
- Monitor jobs to ensure they will finish on time and within budget.
- Address issues when they arise aiming for minimum disruption.
- Prepare and submit status and performance reports.
- Ensuring all required manufacturing documentation is obtained and filed correctly.

**For success in this role, you will need the following skills**:

- Proven experience in manufacturing planning and coordination
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing and quality control principles
- Process driven.
- Working knowledge of ERP systems.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities
- Proficient in 'Microsoft Office programs’ in particular Excel
- Microsoft Project experience would be an advantage.
- Automotive industry (Ford, JLR) experience would be an advantage.
