We are looking for an individual to become our Continuous Improvement Lead, covering Wales, as part of the wider NAS Practice Team. The geographical area is focused in South Wales, East as far as Newport and West as far as Neath, Port Talbot.
**Job Summary**
Using demonstrable knowledge and understanding of autism, and considerable experience of supporting autistic individuals, the role will have a focus on ensuring that continuous improvement, quality of practice and wellbeing of the individuals supported is at the forefront of services provided within the directorate. You will need to contribute to the direction of the national strategy, based on regulatory, legislative and best practice guidance, taking responsibility for local implementation.
The aim of this post is to deliver a focused service, aimed at delivering high quality autism specialist support across the directorate, with an emphasis on consistent improvement, as well as continuously developing and auditing the quality of autism practice across services and ensuring the NAS Accreditation standards are consistently evidenced. Furthermore, you will need to promote and develop understanding and implementation of the national policy, guidance and best practice across the portfolio of service user experience, autism and PBS practice, safeguarding, safety and quality, as well as deliver on national and local projects and initiatives.
You will work as part of the senior leadership team in a geographical area, driving quality, values and reflective practice across all staff teams, breaking down silo working where this may develop. Finally, you will work across the whole of the designated area of service provision, with designated support for complex cases as required. This role will also include the need for regular travel between your designated services, approx. 3 and 4 days of the working week, but also the capacity for UK wide travel and occasional overnight stays.
