Accounts Assistant Job - Part Time - Downham Market - Competitive salary - flexible hours
**Your new company**
Working for a construction company based near Downham Market in a small office. This company work across East Anglia with various businesses. They are a major player in the construction market working largely in Norfolk, Cambridgeshire and Suffolk with a growingclient base.
**Your new role**
Working with the accounts manager on site, your duties will include:

- CIS Returns.
- Verifying subcontractors and calculating weekly subcontractor payments.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Purchase and sales ledgers.
- Maintaining fixed asset register.
- Maintaining Hire Purchase agreements.
- Checking all suppliers at the end of the month to statements and producing a payment run list.
- Filling of all paperwork.
- Producing and submitting VAT Returns under MTD on a quarterly basis.
- Assisting in intercompany recharges each month.
- Able to job cost all expenses to contract on an ongoing basis.
- Be able to produce reports from sage to assist with management accounts.

A large part of this role is to assist the Accounts Manager in the implementation of Sage 50 - You must have used this software before and have an understanding to help with installation.
**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will need to have experience in a similar role and experience working in a construction company would be beneficial. You will need to have working knowledge of Sage 50. You will also need experience working as an accounts assistantand studying towards a qualification in accounts would be advantageous. You will need to be hardworking and be able to work efficiently on your own and as part of a team. This is a progressive role that will grow as the company grows.
