Page Personnel are currently recruiting a sales ledger clerk for a well-known and continuously growing trade and services business based in Bury St Edmunds. This is on a full-time permanent basis with clear progression routes.

**Client Details**

This well established nationwide company are based in the Bury St Edmunds area with a great reputation for rewarding staff and providing a good work-life balance. The company's Finance team have a great management team in place who are keen to hire a salesledger clerk to support the current accounts receivable team.

**Description**

Sales ledger clerk will be responsible for:

- Monitor customer accounts and contact customers regarding the status of their payments
- Resolve discrepancies, disputes, and payment delays in a timely manner
- Update customer records and reports to ensure accurate information is maintained
- Serve as the main point of contact for customers and respond to their inquiries in a timely fashion
- Ensure all payment deadlines and terms are strictly adhered to
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions

**Profile**
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business or related field
- Proven experience in credit control or a related field
- Previous sales ledger clerk experience
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and organisational skills
- Ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Keen eye for detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other accounting software
