Prospectus is thrilled to be supporting The Advocacy Academy in their search for a passionate and skilled fundraiser to take up a new position as their Philanthropy Lead.

The Advocacy Academy (TAA) are a charity based in Brixton, London who believe that great power and change comes from the brave voices of those that shout out against social injustice In order for ultimate, sustainable activism to bring about long-lasting change, the charity is searching for a person to lead key philanthropic strategies and oversee appeals to trusts and foundations. The new Philanthropy Lead will be responsible for building relationships of trust and accountability across the charity's existing grant providers, as well as investing and developing these relationships to engage donors creatively.

TAA is seeking someone creative, ambitious and disciplined; a passionate fundraiser with a track record of cultivating excellent relationships across the philanthropic sector, and particularly with trusts and foundations. Experience in securing five-figure grants is desired, as is the ability to manage six-figure major donor relationships. This role offers the opportunity to develop new skills in trust and major fundraising, with increasing autonomy over portfolio management.
