As an **R&D Tax Associate**, you will be at the forefront of keeping productive business relationship, dealing with financial reports, performing R&D financial analysis, and participating in various projects. This position is your opportunity to shape the future of accounting services with us.

**What will I be doing**:

- Meet with clients to get a true understanding of what they do and help identify eligible projects that meet the BIS Guidelines.
- Write technical reports, detailing the technological advancement, baseline and uncertainties faced, in a format suitable for HMRC.
- Undertake full financial analysis to identify eligible R&D expenditure.
- Advise clients pro-actively on changes to legislation and potential impacts to their claim so they can confidently make key business decisions.
- Whilst you will predominately be R&D Tax focused, you will be part of the Entrepreneurial Tax team and involved in other specialist areas such as Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) advice as well as the preparation of share valuations for share schemes to name a few - no two days are the same

- Strong/advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
- An inquisitive interest in the latest technology.
- Numeracy.
- Ability to learn and adapt quickly, as well as plan and deliver work to tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interest in career development/progression.
- Ability to understand and explain technical issues.
- Degree qualified or about to qualify, minimum 2:1 classification.
