Transport Administrator

The Best Connection is working with our client who is a global organization providing outsourced logistics and warehousing to a range of large companies. Due to current growth they have a new opportunity for one of their sites in Washington for a **Transport Administrator**.
This role has scope to develop and provide progression opportunities within this organization.
Duties will evolve as the role develops and will include:
- Driver briefing and de-briefing
- Booking in loads which can change daily
- Arranging servicing and breakdowns
- General admin duties and customer service duties
- Will have an understanding of working in a transport environment with excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience of usage of all IT office packages
- Training will be provided to use their in-house computerized system.
Hours of work are flexible and would be discussed at interview stage:
- Working hours 6 - 8 hours per day on a morning shift
- Monday - Friday start times between 6.00am - 7.00am
- Flexibility to work weekends in the future.
Pay rate negotiable:
- Between £11.00 per hour - £13.00 per hour based on experience
