We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a **Warehouse, Logistics and Maintenance Coordinator** to join our team in the Washington depot of Northern Gas Networks.

Our Warehouse, Logistics and Maintenance Coordinator will contribute to a wide range of areas within our business so the implementation of our new technology in the warehouse is a key part of the role. You will need to utilise your IT skills and acumen as well as possessing strong administrative and interpersonal skills. You will contribute to a cost effective, customer focused service with health and safety being of paramount importance. You will be expected to take responsibility for moving items of stock in and out of the stores and repair and maintain our plant equipment.

Alongside this your knowledge of SAP will ensure our success within the stores where you can ensure that the safe and efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of our warehouse equipment is delivered, accounted for, and maintained accurately. You will assist us by continually striving to improve productivity and cost saving opportunities so that objectives are met without compromising our customers or the safe performance of our equipment for the teams across the network.

**Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities**
- Responsibility for the delivery and collection of both inward and outward stock movement whilst maintaining accuracy of the recording of stock on the relevant electronic systems before it leaves the warehouse to feed into the business operations
- Ensuring that the delivery and collection of stock is carefully and accurately monitored in line with stock levels and check the accuracy of all incoming and outgoing stock by ensuring the system is up to date
- Operating and repairing where appropriate, mechanical lifting and handling equipment, tools and other equipment in a safe and competent manner ensuring that all equipment and tools are correctly maintained and stored, e.g., mini excavator, pneumatic tools etc
- Ensuring the repair and maintenance of equipment for operatives and departments within NGN, providing a service whereby teams and individuals will be provided with compliant equipment that is fit for purpose in accordance with relevant HSE Legislation, Company Standards and Codes of Practice
- Work in collaboration with onsite customer teams and managers to ensure the correct documentation and ordering processes are followed in line with the relevant electronic stock systems, ensuring accurate records for all inward and outward inventory movements
- You will take ownership and be solely responsible for any discrepancies that arise within the electronic stock system
- Carry out driving duties as part of the role to deliver pick up equipment and tools and provide support at other Warehouses

**What we are looking for**
- Current full Driving Licence
- IT Skills competent in using Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience in service, calibration, maintenance of plant and equipment (Not essential training will be provided)
- Experience of using MRP, warehousing systems and SAP (Training on SAP 4 will be provided)
- Possession of a current Gas Network Safety Passport or equivalent (Not essential training will be provided)
- Telehandler license (Not essential training will be provided)
- Trailer/Towing license (parts B/E on license not essential training will be provided)

**What we offer you**
- A competitive salary of £32,132 per annum
