Warehouse Operative Job Description

This role is responsible for the accurate recording of new goods received into the warehouse and the reporting of discrepancies. The Warehouse Operative will also be responsible for the robust checking of returned items and the accurate recording of damages/adjustments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Achieve accurate and timely location of stock items into their relevant warehouse location.
  • Efficiently fulfil daily picks from designated warehouse location.
  • Organise all customer and stock movements on PC terminals and courier systems.
  • Accurate recording of new goods received into warehouse, and reporting of discrepancies.
  • Robust checking of returned items, and accurate recording of damages/adjustments.
  • General warehouse duties and administration tasks.
  • Ensure housekeeping duties are carried out daily, during and at the end of each shift.
  • Undergo any training and development as required.

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a warehouse environment.
  • Good knowledge of company procedure and experience of adherence to them.
  • Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements and experience of adherence to them.
