A respected Motorsport and High-Performance Engineering trade association requires an Event Executive to deliver top-class B2B event management from inception through to delivery, including promotion, website/e-marketing, sales, administration and CRM maintenance within a small, highly motivated event and project management team.

What you'll be doing:

- Full responsibility of your events from inception through to delivery
- Organising and delivering commercial and strategic events which meet budgetary and event objectives
- Logistical delivery of both virtual and live events - including Zoom virtual events platform, venue sourcing for live events, catering sourcing, audio and visual planning, pre-event administration, speaker, exhibitor and delegate liaising and on the day event programme management and delivery
- Co-ordinating delegate booking process, building and maintaining webpages and optimising the delegate experience
- Working with colleagues to ensure exhibitor and partnership deliverables are managed and achieved for events
- Creating promotional material for events and working with colleagues to actively ensure sales targets are met for each event
- Setting clear event project plans with fixed deadlines and ensuring these are met
- Regular communication with members both to promote event activities, provide support and engage with at events
- Tracking and reporting progress on event status to management

Skills helpful for the role:

- Experience of B2B event management including sales, marketing and communications within a commercially focused membership/client service-led organisation
- Ability to work independently in a small team; being resourceful with good interpersonal skills
- Confident on phone and screen, hosting meetings, taking calls, making sales calls
- Able to attend events which sometimes means early starts and/or late finishes and occasionally staying away
- IT skills including use of Microsoft office packages, databases, CRM, Social Media etc
- Knowledge of, or interest in the motorsport industry is an advantage but not essential
- Car owner and hold a valid driving licence
