**About Our Client**:
The client is a leading producer of recycled metals and aluminium products that are re-purposed into large industrial machinery. They work alongside their customers to provide innovative solutions to the aerospace, automotive, beverage can, and speciality markets.
Key responsibilities consist of:
- Reconciling bank statements and financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
- Maintaining organised and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
- Assisting in preparing financial reports, statements, and budgets.
- Handling payroll-related tasks, including employee compensation and deductions.
- Managing and tracking accounts receivable and accounts payable.
- Supporting the finance team in various administrative tasks and projects.
- Monitoring and managing petty cash and expense reimbursements.
- Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders on financial matters.
- Assisting with audits and providing necessary financial documentation.
**The Successful Applicant**:
- Proficient in financial software and tools, including Excel, accounting software, and databases.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing financial transactions and records.
- Excellent organisational skills to manage documentation and ensure timely task completion.
- Familiarity with financial regulations, compliance, and internal policies.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Analytically minded to identify and resolve discrepancies or issues in financial data.
