IT Operational Support Officer

This project support officer role is one of the key roles contributing to the ongoing operational success and sustainability of the digital service delivery portfolio. The project support officer works on a number of projects simultaneously, varying in scale and complexity.
The primary care digital service delivery portfolio has grown recently to encompass the digital first programme and therefore this team cover two critical areas of ICB business as follows:
- Digital transformation projects (Digital First, Remote monitoring, etc.) as agreed with region under an MOU releasing external funding to support delivery of these programmes and
- GPIT BAU services across all six SEL boroughs.
The role of the IT Operational Support Officer will be focused on tracking and resolving issues and actions related to South East London ICS Digital Service Delivery and GP IT projects and programmes, and support project management office (PMO) for the delivery of IT and digital projects.
The post holder will create and implement a process which identifies, and tracks risk and issues associated with SEL Digital service delivery and GPIT projects and monitor these which need to be escalated outside of normal processes. They will also work with users and suppliers to identify recurrent or similar themes of problems which may be illustrative of other issues.
