HR Assistant

SF Commercial team are recruiting for a full time Permanent HR Assistant to join a well-established business in Kettering, in a small but friendly team. The office is modern and open plan, the business is professional and there is a canteen and car parkingon site.
Salary is between £23,000 and £25,00 plus benefits. Monday to Friday (37.5 hours a week).08:30am to 16: 30pm.Benefits include generous holidays-to 30 days, life assurance, pension, and high street discounts.
The HR Assistant will provide administrative HR operational support for the business.
Main Responsibilities
- Reporting, compliance, and payroll. Payroll will be inputting only so you must have a good data entry skill and be meticulous
- Processing new starters and leavers
- Sickness management and probation reviews/signoff
- Supporting the HR Coordinator with the recruitment process
- Solid IT Skills and ideally a background in HR although, this is not essential. The main criteria is strong Administration skills, with good customer care and people skills
- Ability to understand and respond correctly and appropriately to customer queries
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Excellent communicator both written and oral
- Adaptable and flexible
- Organised and methodical approach and a confident Administrator
- Attention to quality
- Able to work in a team or on their own
- Consistently shows a passion for getting things done & meeting commitments to others
- Offers advice and guidance in responding to customer enquiries
- Understands and follows work procedures to achieve a high level of quality, productivity and/or service
- Be able to affect change and influence work colleagues in a positive fashion
