Rate of Pay: £12.50 per hour

Pattern of Working: Tuesdays 22:30-07:30 & Fridays 22:30-07:30 - Bank/AdHoc staff required - Days and times may be flexible

Personal Assistant needed to support a child with physical and learning difficulties to provide on-site respite through the night for the family.

Our young 3-year-old son needs support throughout the night with the following tasks:
To support through the night i.e.

Change pads as needed

Monitor for Seizures and learn appropriate protocol and meds in an emergency.

Give medication and fluids via PEG if required.

Re-positioning and prevent rolling over/risk of suffocation.

Effective use of mobile hoist if required

General monitoring to ensure general well-being and that needs are met throughout the night.

**Experience / Qualifications**

Experience essential. Minimum 2 year’s experience in the care sector

Qualifications welcome. But not essential. Full training will be given

Perfect use and understanding of the English language is essential

Breaks, food, expenses and travel to be discussed if invited for interview.

Additional hours may become available (nights and day times), so we are looking for someone who is flexible.
