An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Team Administrator, to provide a comprehensive administrative and secretarial service to the Prison Health Ward and Mental Health Multi-Disciplinary team. To operate within the Division’s/Team’s systems and act as part of a wider administration / secretarial team.

The post holder will be expected to work flexibly and will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative and clerical duties and information as and when required, assisting the multi-disciplinary team in carrying out their duties.

If you are enthusiastic, motivated and ready for a challenge with excellent administrative skills, with a calm, unflappable, friendly disposition, and the ability to organise a busy team and support the administration team, then you are the person we are looking for.

The post requires an enthusiastic and self motivated individual, an excellent team player who is flexible and has a tenacity to see tasks through to completion.

The successful applicant will be able to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team and be able to respond to working under pressure to meet deadlines.

The post holder will be responsible for undertaking a range of administrative and clerical duties and information as and when required, assisting the multi-disciplinary team in carrying out their duties.

To act as the focal point of contact and be responsible for the dissemination of information, messages and enquiries for the Mental Health Multi-Disciplinary team.

To provide cross cover and support to other teams in the event of absence planned or otherwise.

Liaising with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals and staff within the trust, GP’s, Social workers, Service users, and other appropriate agencies.
