**About the role**:
Activate Learning are looking for inspirational and resilient individuals who are passionate about making a difference to join our growing Intervention Progress Coach team, working to restore effective learning habits and behaviours, and supporting the personal development and progression of our students.
In this role, you will support, coach and mentor learners who may be at risk of dropping out or not achieving on their course due to issues with engagement, attendance, behaviour, or motivation.
You will provide individualized support and targeted interventions to a caseload of students, either 1:1 or in small groups, relating to their personal development, their learning and their careers, enabling them to engage successfully with their programme and progress to the next level of learning or employment.
**What you need to be a successful Intervention Progress Coach at Activate Learning?**
You will have some experience of working with teenagers or young adults within a school/youth work/college or relevant environment. Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver coaching sessions as well as inspirational group sessions to a diverse range of learners.
You will be empathetic, resilient and confident in supporting students to develop their skills and promoting wellbeing, work readiness and positive behaviours.
Ideally, you will have experience of coaching and mentoring individuals in their personal development, wellbeing/mental health, work readiness, or working with students whose behaviour can be described as challenging.
