Come and join our team as an Engagement Officer, supporting our CFO Activity Hub contract

What happens at our Activity Hubs you may ask? Our established team provide a comprehensive programme of social and creative activities for ex-offenders, both following release from prison and those serving community sentences. Our participants are invited to come and enjoy the support we offer to ensure they are well equipped with the necessary skills and confidence they need to re-enter the community.

As our Engagement Officer, you’ll be in frequent contact with our participants, providing outreach services to keep them engaged and interested in what we have to offer. Whilst at the Hub you’ll motivate and encourage continued participation in our activities and celebrate their progress and achievements as they make positive changes.

We’ll need your excellent interpersonal skills as you provide a warm, welcoming reception to help our participants feel at ease. You’ll be on hand to provide any motivational support plus practical help e.g. accompanying them to appointments and assisting with the completion of forms or any other paperwork.

We would ideally like to welcome someone with lived experience in the criminal justice system (as an ex-service user) into this role, as there will an element of relatability and you’ll be a role model for positive change. However, this is not mandatory. We are ultimately looking for somebody with an engaging personality who is comfortable working with a diverse range of people from a variety of backgrounds and circumstances.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Lived experience of the criminal justice system - desirable
