A member of the Planning Team, the Materials Planner undertakes material planning and scheduling activities at the manufacturing site within the Business System.

**Your responsibilities**:

- Master production planning
- Demand mgmt
- Inventory management
- Constrained Capacity
- Capacity Planning
- Ensure Customer Service through short
- and medium-term planning by maintaining raw materials at safety stock target levels.
- Understand the operation process, capacity, and delivery constraints of suppliers, and site.
- Maximize utilization of all manufacturing assets through efficient scheduling and effectively communicating throughout the network.
- Manage the planning and preparation of material schedules.
- Robustly utilize the Business Systems.
- Deliver accurate demand and shipping forecasts

**Your background**:

- Essential
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A proactive thinker with attention to detail.
- Ability to change direction and handle multiple responsibilities and tasks on a regular basis.
- Ability to positively motivate individuals and teams to meet or exceed expectations.
- Extensive knowledge and expert level user of Microsoft Office tools e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.
- In depth SAP knowledge
- Knowledge of Intuitive ERP, or other MRP/ERP systems.
- Knowledge of configuration control.
- Strong planning, organizational skills and attention to detail are required.
- Team attitude; eager to cooperate with others, has exceptional interpersonal-communication skills.
- Desirable
- Experience working within an ISO quality plan is an asset.
