Salary - £28,400 -Temp to Perm

The Role:

- Responsible for the production and distribution to suppliers of accurate schedules to enable MPS & stock requirements to be met for all components.
- Expediting from the supplier until components are in stores
- Supporting the PC&L Manager in co-ordination and planning all expediting because of quality and delivery problems
- Responsible for the maintenance of the scheduling parameters on Mfg-pro, setting the minimum and maximum stock levels, call off quality and scrap factors
- Maintaining and communicating component MOP’s and issuing those MOP’s, to develop corrective action plan with the supplier to improve their delivery performance and reliability in conjunction with SQA and Sourcing Teams
- Collating and reporting information to ensure legal obligations are met
- Maintain purchase order cover for direct material
- Maintain accurate records of returns to suppliers accompanied with correct paperwork
- To contribute to the achievement of the Supplies Module targets and MOP’s
- To improve the efficiency of the Supplies Module and its processes through participation in continuous improvement projects.
- Regular attendance to monthly communicating to ensure understanding of the organisation the importance of meeting customer as well as statutory and regulatory requirements
- Proactively ensures quality procedures and guidelines are followed to ensure quality objectives are met
- Escalates any customer quality concern immediately upon identification

The Person:

- Results driven approach.
- Proven problem-solving capabilities.
- Previous scheduling or planning experience ideal but not essential
- Excellent computer skills
