**Is this role for you?**

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Human Resource professional, to join our team. This is an key role within the HR function of a fast paced food manufacturer. You will be instrumental in supporting key colleagues on site with Human Resource, Payroll and Recruitment needs, this will include legislative updates and general employer relations. Supporting and running projects aligned to the HR administrative function and stratergy across our sites.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Maintain site time and attendance records, ensuring all payments are made in accordance with site and HMRC rules
- Ensure all colleagues records are updated and set up accurately, moving to digital
- Drive the people strategy, added value, transactional ethical and compliance agenda to ensure standards are achieved
- Support investigation and disciplinary meetings
- Drive the sites recruitment, support planning and activate labour requirements
- Interpret HR policy, support and coach managers in implementation and understanding of HR practise and employment legislation
- Support development and coaching and advise line managers to ensure we get the best results
- Support on site audits internal and external

**Health & Safety**:

- Ensure the highest levels of health and safety are upheld in line with legislative, quality and moral standards.
- Support safety initiatives and support team in achieving/exceeding Health & Safety targets playing a key role in ensuring the successful operation.
- Ensure completion and review of risk assessments & safe working practices are carried out encouraging involvement and consultation with the key managers, reviewing and implementing corrective action plans.
- Actively promote safe working practices introducing innovative approaches to ensure consistent safety improvements, analysing business trends and introducing corrective measures.

What are we looking for:

- A graduate or part qualified HR professional
- CIPD membership and qualification or time served in HR (US: PHR, SHRM - CP, SPHR or SHRM - SCP)
- Be approachable with good listening skills have the ability to work alone or as part of a team
- Result driven with a real passion for people
- Ability to engage and give added value information
- You should be well organised and have the ability to prioritise tasks as well as being comfortable in working is a fast paced, change orientated environment.
- You should have sound PC skills along with good knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
