The Labourer is a multi-functional role within the manufacturing department, which incorporates general labouring responsibilities and using a forklift truck.

British Engines Group Company, CMP Products, is a leading designer, manufacturer and supplier of cable glands, cable cleats and cable accessories. CMP manufactures its products from three facilities based in Cramlington, Northumberland, and has a global distribution network, supported by ten offices spread across six continents from Houston, USA, to Busan in South Korea.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Unload bar deliveries
- Control the weigh bridge operation
- Issue material for production
- Control swarf operations
- Complete general labouring responsibilities
- Complete stock counts
- Complete IFS transactions
- Demonstrating a positive approach to Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) through good working practices, housekeeping and correct use of PPE

**Who we are looking for**:
You must have a valid driving and forklift truck licence and be trained to use an electric pallet truck. The ability to work at height is also required.

Excellent communication skills, being organised and self-motivated as well as having enthusiasm for the role are essential.

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis. Working hours are an average of 37.5 hours per week on a shift rotation, which involves 10 x 12 hour shifts over a 21-day cycle with 11 days off.
