HR Apprentice

We are looking for an HR Apprentice, to join our team in Cramlington. As an HR Apprentice you will provide support to the HR Advisors / Manager on people related processes, covering the employee lifecycle. This includes providing support in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, employee engagement and wellbeing.
This apprenticeship would suit someone who enjoys working with people and has an interest in developing a long-term career in Human Resources.
As well as gaining practical experience you will be working towards a level three qualification in Human Resource Support a formal apprenticeship with a training provider.
**What you’ll be doing**
- Supporting with the updating and development of job descriptions
- Scheduling interviews with hiring managers and HR representatives, coordinating travel arrangements where required
- Manage the process for agency starter / leavers
- Updating organisation charts with starters, leavers and changes
- Support new employees through the coordination of new joiner inductions
- Working with central learning and development to coordinate training, ensuring employees have completed relevant compliance training as well as managing training renewals where identified
- Review and update skills and training matrices
- Support in coordinating the appraisal process
- Coordinating onboarding and exit interviews to ensure the business receives feedback on employee experience
- Help coordinate the delivery of the annual engagement and wellbeing survey
- Ensuring people related documents are maintained in the company HR systems
- Delivering excellent customer services when responding to general employee queries
- Supporting the HR Advisors / Manager with HR related projects
- Generating HR data that supports the HR Advisors / Manager, including absence, labour turnover, long service
- Provide support to the HR Advisors / Manager in disciplinary, grievances and absence related processes

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis working dayshift. To provide its employees an improvement in work/life balance, CMP operates a 9-day fortnight (9/10) where employees have the opportunity to work compressed working hours and as a result have every other Friday as a day off.
