You will be part of a supportive and innovative team, where you can forge valuable relationships across the business and contribute to significant process and system improvements.

This role is instrumental in ensuring the accurate and swift processing of invoices, upholding our commitment to operational excellence and efficiency.

**The Role**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensure timely management of Accounts Payable transactions, keeping supplier accounts precise and up to date.
- Efficient management of the accounts payable mailbox and incoming post.
- Facilitate invoice approvals in adherence to our authorisation manual.
- Handle both PO and non-PO invoices, ensuring smooth operations.
- Reconcile Supplier statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Execute regular payment runs and assist with month-end processes.
- Collaborate on AP process improvements and system enhancements.
- Support team members to prevent backlogs and maintain departmental efficiency.

**Location**: This role is based at our Nuneaton hub 2-3 days per week, typically this is Tuesday and Wednesday but my vary some weeks as required. The rest of the time can be worked remotely.

**The Person**

**Key Requirements**:
- Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable role.
- Proficiency in Excel and general IT literacy
- Excellent organisational skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Strong communication abilities and a professional telephone manner.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Desirable:

- AAT qualification (not mandatory).
- Experience in a multi-site retail environment.
- Knowledge of financial software, VAT requirements, and advanced Excel skills
