Spinwell is recruiting for a Production Material Co-Ordinator for an excellent opportunity within the public sector.
**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE PRODUCTION MATERIAL CO-ORDINATOR**
- Corral, co-ordinate and manage the materiel demand plan in the relevant Technical Centre; will require continual interaction with production, manufacturing, engineering and safety SMEs.
- Provide resolution of material queries through discussion with relevant stakeholders and customers.
- Develop and maintain metrics in support of the material planning team strategy.
- Resolve and/or escalate any material related issues including root cause analysis.
- Develop and produce visual metrics (related to demand management) for the Operational Delivery Units.
- Monitor stock levels and inventory report outputs and highlight and/or escalate issues appropriately.
- Attend task reviews and de-conflict any emerging material requirements.
- Generate material route cards, in line with specifications and the management of materials that require life control.
- Monitor inventory levels and stock replenishment activities to ensure items are available prior to task commencement.
- Improve processes and drive change in the department
- Promote and sponsor operational excellence and drive all actions aimed at continuous process improvement.
- Works effectively with others and building required relationships and interfaces to support delivery of the Programme.
